Ireland’s first Carbon Neutral Exhibition

The Irish Sustainable Building Show has teamed up with Green Cement manufacturer Ecocem to launch Ireland’s first Carbon Neutral Exhibition.


For the exhibition to achieve a carbon neutral status, The Irish Sustainable Building Show has offset the carbon footprint of the show by purchasing carbon credits from Ecocem (www.ecocem.ie)

The Ecocem offsets are Verified Emissions Reductions (VER) offsets, independently verified by a UN-accredited validator (SGS) and validated in accordance with the highest standards. Other buyers of Ecocem Offsets in Ireland include the Hibernian Group.

The Irish Sustainable Building Show will offset the emissions created by the energy consumed at the exhibition, all promotional material and the travel to and from the show by visitors, exhibitors and staff.
